As we come to an end of the first semester of this year at the Hartford Art School there are still some exciting events and occurrences that are happening now and will be happening soon.

Clay Club will be sponsoring their annual Ceramics Holiday Sale on Friday, December 4th in the Silpe Gallery from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funds raised will go toward helping them attend the National Council for Education on Ceramic Arts Conference. The exhibit will fun from December 4th to the 10th.

The Painting and Drawing Department are putting together an Open Juried Art Show that will take place at the Silpe Gallery. The deadline for submissions is December 4th, more information can be found outside the senior painting studios and on flyers around the art school. The open receiption is Friday, December 11th rom 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

An Exhibition of Artist Books created by Hartford Art School students entitled "Open" is on view at Mortensen Library until December 4th. They can be viewed in the display cases hung on the library walls.

There is a Bus to Jerry's Artarama for art supplies this weekend. The bus will leave from University Commons at 12:00 and 1:00 on Saturday an 12:00 on Sunday.
