The blog is here for everyone including current students, professors, parents, alumni, prospective students, and the university community. It will allow the community to be connected across different majors as well as with current and past members of the school. The blog will provide a new structure for us to share news and insight from our community of artists.
We have provided a collection of Resources for you and for our community which includes local friends, jobs, museums, online tools, websites, blogs and more. Synthesis is a blog for our community and for us to share with others. We extend an invitation to all to participate and send in Submissions for content. This also includes interviews, guest editors, and other suggestions.
The Visual Index provides thumbnail images for each post allowing the viewer the ability to browse the archives visually. Synthesis and the Hartford Art School also have a presence at several other online locations. The posts and articles can be filtered by categories and departments by using the links in the sidebar to the right.
Dduring this coming school year we will create some original series of posts focusing on specific topics and areas, along with that you can expect to see many more interviews.
Synthesis is published by Ethan Bodnar and members of the school's community for the Hartford Art School. He is a sophmore design student responsible for the design and development of the blog. The project was established by Tom Bradley and Mark Snyder.
